The Children's Trust
"The Children’s Trust recognizes the importance of early brain development and its impact on later life success. As a result, they have invested in an array of strategies to support young children’s physical, cognitive, social and emotional readiness for starting school. VPK
"Voluntary Prekindergarten gives children a jump start by preparing them for school and enhancing their pre-reading, pre-math, language and social skills. By developing the skills children need to become strong readers and students at an early age, children are more likely to be successful in school". VPK is free from 9am-12pm and begins each year in August. Children must be 4 by September 1st to qualify. Click here for more information on applying
US Coast Guard Child Care Subsidy Program & US Military/ Government agency childcare funding
If you are a member of the United States military, you may be eligible for Department of Defense child care fee assistance. Members of the Army, Air Force, Navy, and Marine Corps may receive help paying for child care providers in the community where they live.
