About Us

Ms. Denise is the President and Founder of our organization. A proud mother of three and grandmother of five, she treasures time with her family and enjoys traveling. Throughout her career, Denise has gained extensive experience across a variety of fields and businesses, bringing a wealth of knowledge and entrepreneurial spirit to her work. Her greatest passion lies in childcare, where she is dedicated to creating opportunities that support and uplift children and their families.

 Ms. Nicole serves as Vice President and Executive Director. A dedicated leader and advocate for children, she is also the proud mother of two young sons who inspire much of her work. Nicole is a children’s author and the founder of The Children’s Alliance of Florida, a nonprofit organization committed to supporting foster and at-risk children and their families through programs that provide resources, encouragement, and care.

Ms. Yoleisy serves as the Director of Homestead Christian Academy. With more than 15 years of experience in early childhood education, she brings a wealth of knowledge and dedication to her role. Ms. Bernal oversees the day-to-day operations of the center, ensuring that classrooms run smoothly and staff are fully supported. She values strong communication with parents and families, working in partnership with them to provide the best experience for every child. Her passion is creating an environment where children are safe, happy, and thriving.

Ms. Maria is our program specialist. Maria is an Early Childhood Specialist with over 20 years of experience in working with at-risk children and youth, teachers, and directors. Through various quality improvement programs, she has worked as a Literacy Coach, Technical Assistance Coach, and Quality Improvement Specialist. Maria is currently a private consultant working with early learning centers as well as local and state agencies serving our youngest children. She is dedicated to working with programs as they strive to meet the needs of the most vulnerable children and families. 

Ms. Mariena is our Assistant Director and lead VPK teacher. Ms. Mariena has dedicated the past 14 years to the field of early childhood education, shaping young minds and fostering a love for learning. For the last 11 years, she has been a beloved teacher at Homestead Christian Academy, not only guiding students but also watching her own children grow within the school's nurturing environment.

Born and raised in the Homestead area, Mariena's roots run deep in the community she serves.

Her passion for children, education, and community outreach fuels her mission to help little learners thrive. She believes that early childhood teachers are the foundation of a child's development, laying the groundwork for lifelong success.

When she's not in the classroom, you'll likely find Mariena lost in a good book, embracing her love for reading. She brings warmth, energy, and a fun-loving spirit to everything she does — especially when it involves her favorite color, blue! Her dedication to education and community makes her an inspiring presence at Homestead Christian Academy, where she continues to shape the future, one child at a time.
